TECHNOLOGY & FEATURES

MTX Platform

Heavy-duty steel main support connects to 2" receivers, hauls up to 600 lbs. (272 kgs.), supports chock, track, orientation, and distance from vehicle adjustability, alongside the attachment of innovative components.

StableStop Chock

Adjustable two-piece tire mount locks front tires up to 4.75" (120 mm) wide into chock, maximizes support, and holds the bike upright while securing tie-downs.

MaxHold Track

Laser cut track with advanced geometry reduces carrier weight, grips/wedges rear tires up to 6" (152 mm) wide into the track, and accomodates up to a 62" (157 cm) wheelbase.

BroadPull+ Arms (Front & Back)

Two wide tie-down arms maximize tie down leverage on the front and rear of the motorcycle. Patented shape increases carrier clearance on hills and off-road.

QuickLoad Ramp

A long laser-cut ramp increases tire's traction, eases the loading angle and unhooks from the same side the ramp connects for a quicker loading process.

ZeroWobble+ Hitch Mount

Upgraded single-bolt hitch mount installs quickly, requires fewer tools and eliminates rack movement in transport.

From Miami to tail of the dragon.

Was a bit nervous when I orderd my moto tote max because by bike weighs about 520lbs pretty close to the max for the carrier but it got my bike from Miami to tail of the dragon and back with zero issues and very little movement i could hardly tell I had over 500 pounds sitting back there.

Very nice!

Great product. Easy to assemble and great fit. My only issue is there are holes that can take on water during a rain and can’t drain.

Hi Brooks, Thanks for the review. Feedback is always appreciated! We just want to point out that the holes in the bottom of the MTX Platform beam are for water drainage or at least evaporation so moisture doesn't get sealed inside.

I had a recent ride out of state and didn’t want to use a trailer for just 1 bike. I also didn’t want to hassle with loading in and out of the bed of the F350. I have been skeptical about hitch carriers. I researched and found the MotoTote Max Hitch Carrier. The quality of construction is excellent and the performance is great. I really like the extended tie down bars. Much better for tie down strap angle. I also purchased the light kit for added safety. The entire kit was easy to assemble. I recommend the MotoTote.

Excellent Motorcycle Hauler

I read and watched a lot of different reviews for hitch haulers and the Mototote was the stand out of all of them. I received mine well packaged and proceeded to assemble. Great build quality on all the parts. Easy assembly. After putting it all together, I have zero concerns. I will be able to safely and securely transport my dirt bikes while allowing me to use my truck bed space for all my gear. I have a hard cover on my truck bed so I'm excited to not have to remove my bed cover just to go riding.

My MotoTote Max Carrier

This is constructive criticism. I received my Max carrier pretty quickly after ordering. When I received it everything was spotless, but I did not receive any of the hardware to put it together. Made one call, and they shipped me the hardware. In putting the unit together, I had to go on line to the company's website to get directions. The directions are very vague and could use more photos of your actual kit and not just make it for all the different hitch carriers they sell. During the building process, the driver's side tie down bar would absolutely not fit into the space provided on the main platform. Tt was probably off by at least an 1/8". The other side fit perfectly. I had to use a 10 pound sledge hammer to force it into position. (A good idea for the company is to insure all the parts fit accordingly before being powdercoated) Other than that, all the holes lined up. I went with their standard rear brake light kit, rather than the led one. The standard light kit mounted perfectly and the lights are plenty bright. I did go to Harbor Freight, and for $15.00, I bought a 4 pin to 7 pin trailer adapter for my 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD truck. The lights all work correctly. I loaded my 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R, and the rack is rock solid. I did buy through the company the rear tire "Tyrefix" tie down system, and that worked great. I'm still giving a 5 star review, because it seems like a well built carrier, and the company was quick on their customer service, and apologetic for my hardware not being included in the kit.

MotoTote Awesome!

I've used other dirt bike haulers, but this one is the best. Super heavy duty, and easy to put together. Light package is a must as it completes the total package. Very clean unit all together and gives great peace of mind when hauling a $10K bike.

Great hitch rack but expensive

Very well designed, built and finished. For the price, it should include the light kit which I think is a necessity. Strong stable ramp that makes it easy to load. Definitely adds peace of mind for longer trips compared to generic, less expensive options. See video review here: https://rumble.com/v38j9tl-mototote-max-hitch-carrier.html
